These small jars are designed to look like antique apothecary jars. The herb names are presented primarily in Old English to lend an air of authenticity. The modern English version of the herb name is on the bottom of the jar. The lids of the jars are decorated with a transferred floral design that has been hand painted with china paints. These jars are fully glazed porcelain and suitable for holding herbs. They have a cork stopper inside the lid for a secure closure. They are decorated with transfers of original designs designed to resemble antique apothecary jars. The designs are fired on then hand painted with china paints and fired. . They each come with a certificate that includes information about the intended contents and care of the jar.
