Apothecary Vessel Pendant - Mypciae
Myrciae obtained from the dried bark or root of Myrica cerifera (Bayberry) and was used as a tonic, astringent and to treat toothaches. Usually available as "Sp. Mypciae", meaning Spirits of Myrciae.
This vessel is handpainted using underglazes on porcelain. The design is consistent with those found on 19th century apothecary jars. The terminology used is what would have been found on apothecary jars of the era. It is hung on a brown leather cord with adjustable chinese button knots so you can wear it short or long. It has a cork stopper so you can safely fill it with your favorite essential oil or spirits of mypciae or whatever else you might choose.
Size:
